We welcome guests over the age of 10.
Whilst we love pets, and have our own dog, we are sorry but we cannot accept pets at present.
We are sorry we are unable to accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
Please note that accommodation is non-smoking throughout including no vaping and no electronic cigarettes. There is a deep cleaning charge if guests have smoked in rooms. For those who do smoke, please make use of the outdoor areas.
For insurance purposes, please do not invite anyone other than those named in the booking into your accommodation.
We are unable to accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injuries to yourself or member of your party, any vehicles or possessions during your stay with us.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: from 4 pm to 7 pm but we can accommodate other times by prior arrangement.
Check out: 10.30 am
There are ample marked parking spaces on the driveway for you to use free of charge. Once you have parked, please make your way round the decking at the front of the house to meet us at reception. We will help you with your luggage and show you key areas around your accommodation.
Any prices quoted on this website are only for bookings made directly with us and are based on two people sharing. Bookings made through third parties may be charged at a higher tariff. Prices may vary depending on the number of nights booked. Separate rate for single person occupancy are available. Please contact us directly.
Breakfast is included except for those guests staying in Willow self-catering.
VISA, MasterCard, American Express and debit cards are accepted. Payment by Debit Card or similar is preferred.
We request credit/debit card details to guarantee your reservation. Bearing in mind the current Covid-19 situation, we have made our cancellation policy more flexible until further notice.
We will not charge for cancellations provided we receive at least 2 days’ notice. For cancellations with shorter notice, we will not make a charge provided we are able to re-let the room. If we are unable to re-let the room we will charge 100% of the room rate for cancellation within 2 days of arrival.
We strongly advise that you take out holiday insurance to cover the cost of your stay in the event of a cancellation.
When you make this booking, you are entering into an agreement with us. Please take note of the terms and conditions of booking detailed on this page.
In the unlikely event that we would need to cancel your accommodation, we will endeavour to find alternative accommodation for you. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
The UK government made an announcement on 8 July 2020 allowing VAT registered businesses to apply a temporary 5% reduced rate of VAT to hotel and holiday accommodation. (The temporary reduced rate will apply between 15 July 2020 and 12 January 2021.)
Please note that Woodlands is not registered for VAT and therefore this VAT reduction does not apply to our room rates which remain as advertised.
For guests who have booked via an online travel agency (OTA), such as Booking.com or Expedia, the default presentation of room rates assumes VAT is paid and this is detailed in the price breakdown. This is incorrect. We are working with the OTAs to correct this.
